Moi, c'est Corentin, et ceci est mon gemlog au titre inspiré du questionnement qui me vient à l'esprit quand quelque chose que j'échoue à faire depuis des heures finit enfin par fonctionner. Je passe mon temps libre à créer des univers pour mes jeux de rôle, ainsi qu'à militer dans les communautés du logiciel libre et à la Confédération Générale du Travail. Quand je ne suis pas occupé à une de ces choses, je suis sûrement en train de déblatérer à leur sujet à toute personne qui passe à ma portée.
Ces activitées sont entrecoupées par mon travail à Nantes Université, où je prépare ma thèse en épidémiologie et biostatistique portant sur l'inférence causale.
Hi, I’m Corentin, and this is my gemlog—named after that split second of disbelief when something I’ve been stuck on for hours finally works. I spend my free time creating worlds for tabletop RPGs, as well as in free software communities and the CGT (French Labour Union). When I'm not involved in one of those things, you'll probably catch me rambling about them to anyone I could find in range of talking.
These activities are regularly interrupted by my work at Nantes University, where I am pursuing a PhD in epidemiology and biostatistics, with a focus on causal inference.
Je publie des posts en anglais et en français. J'essaie, lorsque c'est possible, de publier certains posts dans les deux langues.
